I discovered later that the 00 guitar was severely damaged. They didnt deny the experience occurred but for nine months the various people I communicated with put the responsibility for dealing with the damage on everyone other than themselves and finally said they would do nothing to compensate me for my loss. So I promised the last person to finally say no to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world. United? also loses guitars. A few years back when I flew to Chicago on United’s now-defunct budget airline Ted (into O’Hare, funny enough), I got my suitcase from baggage claim just fine, but the classical guitar I brought with me was nowhere to be found. When I asked their baggage services about it, they tracked the guitar and found that it was in Albany! Credit where due, they did get it back to me one day later, NOT broken, thankfully.

Yup, when I was 18, I worked for the Post Office during the Christmas rush – the guys training? me said to throw the FRAGILE packages with my left hand. Went on to an illustiious career with Sprint for 22 years doing mostly customer service. Then just retired after 7 years with the DMV. Hmmmm… maybe I can get on with the power company?
